Seastar Communities: Sonata

Seastar Communities opened Sonata, the first standard Zero Energy Neighborhood (ZEN) of its kind in the Redding area, designed to save homebuyers up to 50 % on utility costs. The homes at Sonata are certified as both Earth Advantage® and ComfortWise®, meaning they reduce construction waste, improve indoor air quality, and are built with an engineered HVAC system improving efficiency and comfort. To verify the efficient design, BIRA is testing for duct tightness and leakage in these homes.
